Travelite
The Travelite is an amazingly light travel chair with an equally impressive weight capacity of 18 stone (115kg). This is down to a combination of clever engineering, in the form multiple cross braces and the fact that it is manufactured from lightweight aluminium, resulting in a weight of 9.3kg (20.5lbs).

Folding down to approximately one third of the size of a standard folding wheelchair and supplied with it's own carry bag, it's ideal for holidays, those days out to the coast or simply just a trip down to the shops.

With a gun metal grey finish, 8" solid tyres and flip up arms pads, this is an excellent option for occassional wheelchair users and daytrippers alike.

Mobile Wheelchair Lifts

There are many situations in civic buildings, colleges, schools, churches and historic buildings, where wheelchair access is difficult, such as a stage in an auditorium, steps in listed buildings etc..
All UK service providers should by now have made "reasonable" adjustments to their premises to overcome physical barriers to access to comply with the 2004 DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) - such as the provision of a low cost portable folding wheelchair ramp of the type shown on this website.
