Mobilift is an effective solution where wheelchair access is difficult.
Problem : There are many situations in civic buildings, colleges, schools, churches and historic buildings, where wheelchair access is difficult, such as a stage in an auditorium, steps in listed buildings etc.
Solution: The Mobilift Portable Wheelchair Lift can be wheeled into position, manually elevated, then lowered and wheeled away when not in use.
Loading
- The Mobilift loads from a ground ramp which folds down to the floor.
- The lift's platform is large enough to accommodate electric wheelchairs or scooters.
- No special training or expertise is required to operate the Mobilift.
- Simple diagrams on the control panel clearly depict the lift's operating instructions.
- Self sufficient - no power is required.
Lifting
- Lifting takes about 20 seconds to maximum height
- albs (2.27kg) of crank force is required to lift 150lbs (68kg) and 11lbs (5kg) of crank force is required to lift 300lbs (136kg)
- Capacity is 600lbs (273kg); all lifts are factory tested to 3000lbs (1364kg)
Leaving
- The Mobilift unloads using a bridge ramp.
- Bridge ramps are available in differing lengths to clear stairs or other obstacles - standard length is 33" (0.84m).
Moving and storage
- The Mobilift portable wheelchair ramp moves and stores easily and
quickly
- albs (1.8kg) of force on level ground is all that is required to start a Mobilift moving - as easy as moving a shopping cart
- Rolls well over uneven surfaces for outdoor stage access or movement between departments
- Weigh approx. 268lbs (122kg) and can be transported in the back of a pickup truck
- Locking cable included to prevent unauthorized use
